Minister for Tertiary Education, Science and Innovation Hon Paul Goldsmith today welcomed the publication of data showing the employment status and earnings of graduates from all universities, wānanga, polytechnics and some funded private training establishments.

The data shows employment outcomes for graduates from each provider, up to nine years post qualification.

This allows prospective students to compare outcomes of graduates in different fields of study at each provider with the national average in that field of study.

The data is intended to help students decide where to study and builds on national-level employment outcomes data already published that helps students decide what to study.

Publishing provider-level data will also help providers compare their graduates’ outcomes to that of other similar providers and will encourage providers to align their provision with industry and employer needs.

View the data on the Ministry of Education’s website.
