My Allocations and Payments is a new self-service information product that we will launch on Ngā Kete in October 2019. My Allocations and Payments provides direct access to TEO allocations, payment schedules and the status of reports linked to payments. Data is updated each weeknight, so it’s always current.

Representative TEOs from across different sub-sectors have been reviewing the information product prototype. We have heard that My Allocations and Payments will help TEOs on a practical basis. Here are some things you can use it for:

  • To see all of your allocations in one place, across multiple funds and years, including on-Plan, off-Plan and Fees-Free
  • To see the status of reports you need to submit in order to get paid
  • To help plan cash-flow
  • To see payment schedules, from either a GST inclusive or GST exclusive perspective

We also received some great ideas about how to make it more useful which we are taking into consideration as we make final updates ready for release in October. The last review and feedback session is scheduled for 31 August.

Please note that as of 31 March 2020 payment schedules will no longer be published on Workspace2 and you will need to use My Allocations and Payments to see them.

You need access to Ngā Kete to use My Allocations and Payments

My Allocations and Payments is an information product in Ngā Kete. Each person in your organisation who will use My Allocations and Payments will need access to Ngā Kete. Access is managed by Ministry of Education (MoE).

Here is what you need to do:

  1. Decide who in your organisation will use My Allocations and Payments
  2. Check whether they have access to Ngā Kete, or not (if not sure contact MoE)
  3. Contact MoE to request an Education Sector Login (ESL) and access to Ngā Kete for the people in your organisation who will use My Allocations and Payments but don’t already have access to Ngā Kete.

Please note that due to licensing issues, there are limitations on numbers of users per TEO. Contact MoE to find out how many licences you have available.

Learning to use My Allocations and Payments

My Allocations and Payments will include a help feature, an online training video and a user guide. You’ll be able to access the training material as soon as you have access to Ngā Kete and My Allocations and Payments has been launched.  We’ll provide more information about learning resources prior to My Allocations and Payments being available in October.
