Update on new funding system for vocational education
Late last year, Cabinet approved the high-level design of a new single unified funding system (UFS) for vocational education and training.
The new funding will encourage providers to make work-based training available for more learners and employers, and better address national and regional skills priorities.
TEC has published the Cabinet paper and provides updated information on the UFS.
